Community Cinema
Saturdays and some Thursdays.
We show films to our members at the library on most Saturdays and some Thursdays to a small but friendly audience. We have screened a wide variety of films: British, American and foreign language films – from old classics to those that have only recently disappeared from the cinemas. We use professional equipment and a large screen.
Films are free but donations to the library are requested to finance future screenings. Films are for our members, but it is easy to join at the door. Booking is not usually necessary although there are occasional ticketed public screenings.
