Welcome to Preston Community Library
Friends of Preston Library formed in 2011, with a mission to stop the closure of our local library – one of six which were being closed by Brent. In 2015 we reopened as a community-run library, staffed by volunteers and funded almost entirely by donations. In 2019 we were shortlisted and ‘highly commended’ in The Bookseller magazine’s Library of the Year Awards.
Preston Community Library is a secular community space that is open to all. Drop in, read a book, surf the internet, make a friend, join an event. We’ll be waiting for you here.
We’ve just finished our Heritage Project! Find out more here.
